Philippine Horticultural Society "Horticulture 2009"

The Philippine Horticultural Society held "Horticulture 2009" from January 16 to 25, 2009 at the Quezon Memorial Circle Park.

This year's theme was "A Walk In the Park". The theme was chosen because of the need by the growing populace for public nature parks within a congested city as breathing space and place to spend time for relaxation.

The opening ceremonies were held in the afternoon of January 16, 2009, with Ms. Rosie Lovely Romulo (3rd from left) and Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte, Jr. (5th from left) as guests of honor.
